I replaced my broken laptop hinge! NOW I CAN CLOSE IT AGAIN 8D

I also bought a giant square pillow yesterday so now I can sleep all propped up AND have shoulder support at the same time. The future is now.

I went to Japan Day in Central Park and I did origamis and calligraphies and I ate all the foods and I saw Diana perform!

I generally hate it when teachers get shit on, because theirs is an insane profession and more power to them. I could never do it. Education in the US has been on the decline for the past twentyish years (which means I'm a victim too :( ), but that doesn't mean there aren't great classes in great schools taught by great teachers.

So apparently turning it off and turning it back on works only when my dad does it because that's... what happened. Endless poking and prodding of the router, trying to hook up a different router, resetting, unplugging, shutting down of EVERYTHING didn't work until my dad touched it. *inhales deeply* But the point is, it's back, and that's good ( Read more... )

Thursday was an absolutely gorgeous day, bright and sunny and 60 (15) degrees, and I did stuff. So I guess all I needed was a warm day? I know it's been a warm winter, but it was still winter and just because the temperature rarely went below 40 (5) doesn't mean I was okay.
